ABOUT ADORATION AND HOLY HOURS
A Holy Hour is a Catholic devotional practice of spending an hour in Eucharistic Adoration before the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament — The Eucharist which is the true Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. During adoration, the Eucharist is held in a monstrance upon the adoration chapel altar. Adorers may pray to God, pray from a prayer book, read spiritual reading, pray the rosary, or just sit with God in contemplation for one minute, one hour, or any length of time. Bask in God’s grace, love, light, and infinite ocean of mercy.

ACCESS CODE
The Adoration Chapel offers adoration Monday-Friday 7:00 am-7:00 pm. The chapel is available for private prayer before the tabernacle without the monstrance all other hours using an access code. CLICK HERE to request an access code. Instructions are also on display at chapel entrances on how to request an access code.

ADORATION RESOURCES

Here are some materials and videos that will help to explain what Adoration is, what to do during Adoration, and how to pray a Holy Hour. There are no formal rules about what to do in Adoration, but people often read the Bible, or pray the rosary, or read a spiritual book, or pray silently, or simply look at Jesus in the Eucharist on the altar.

I had spent most of my life attending Willow Creek Community Church and other non-denominational evangelical churches. I was doing the best I could to grow as a Christian and walk the ‘Christian walk.’ Then the Lord showed me a new way to live in his presence that I never had imagined possible. Through a series of conversations and books, I discovered the presence of our Lord in the quiet of an empty Catholic Church and eventually spending countless hours in Adoration Chapels; praying and listening to our Lord and discovering how He has offered himself to us in the Blessed Sacrament. Less than one year after my first time walking into the Adoration Chapel; myself, my wife, and our 6 children all entered into the Roman Catholic Church in April of 2018.
