Holiday Giving Opportunities

The holiday season provides us with many opportunities to share our blessings with others in need. Here are various collections we are coordinating as a parish this year…

The Giving Tree

You can help a local family in need by donating retail gift cards which will enable them to purchase Christmas gifts for their family members during this especially difficult time!

Please take an envelope from the tree in the Gathering Space and place your gift in the envelope. The gift can be a gift card, cash or a check made out to: St. Theresa Parish.

Gift cards may be in any denomination
for Target, Walmart, or Kohl’s.

Return your envelope in the regular collection basket or drop it off at the Pauline Center by December 17.

OR… make a monetary donation online…

Our Christmas Gifts for Families in Need will be distributed on Saturday, December 19th.

#GivingTuesday

On this worldwide day of philanthropy, St. Theresa invites supporters to contribute to the Tuition Assistance fund and further the opportunity for all to receive Catholic education.

Make a difference in the life of a child, in a world desperately in need of strong Christian values.

Please make St. Theresa your charity on #GivingTuesday!

Tuesday, November 30

Thanksgiving Baskets for Families in Need

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

On Saturday, November 20th, your generosity allowed St. Theresa’s Ministry of Care, to make the Thanksgiving Holiday a reality for 50 families. We distributed 40 Turkeys (with all the fixins—mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce—all donated by the two local Jewel Food stores) as well as a couple of hams to families in need. We also through your generosity handed out food gift cards for Jewel, EuroFresh, Aldi, Mariano’s, Target and Walmart. We also helped out 11 people from the Senior Center.

The families were very thankful for our generosity. The children in the cars eyes were shining and their faces filled with smiles. We also had the help of three students who will be Confirmed this year helping bring the food and cards to each car.

The St. Theresa Ministry of Care thanks you for helping make Thanksgiving real for so many people. A special thanks to Donna Russ and her husband for coordinating this special day.
