“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10
What is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is a worldwide celebration of philanthropy. The idea behind #GivingTuesday is that there is a day of thanks (Thanksgiving), followed by two days for deals (Black Friday and Cyber Monday), and now a day to give back to the charities and causes that are most meaningful to you.
How is St. Theresa celebrating #GivingTuesday?
This year, as in years past, St. Theresa is celebrating by encouraging students, families, alumni, parishioners, and friends of the parish to come together and celebrate giving by making a gift to the Tuition Assistance fund to support Catholic education. This day is about the spirit of giving back of our good fortune, and what better way than to provide the ability for families, who might not otherwise be able, to afford their children the opportunity to be educated in the Catholic faith.
Tuition assistance is available to St. Theresa School families as well as to students in St. Theresa’s Religious Education program.
